This is the former site of Glenn Davy Photography.  As of August 4th 2009, I have decided to close the commercial venture of Glenn Davy Photography after much deliberation.  I felt it was time to concentrate my efforts in the area I am most passionate about, which is photographing and writing about the wild spaces in Canada, as well as detailing what I call "Canadiana" (images that depict the essence of Canada, often with a strong historical slant).  At some point we all have to follow what we enjoy most. I hope all that are reading this will drop on over to my new site, Northern Winds Photography (www.northernwindsphoto.ca) for a look-see.  As you will see there, I will be continuing (on an increasing basis, I hope) with the stock photography end of the business.  In addition to that however, I will also be increasing my work in the  fine art print medium, and spending the time I have always wanted to spend on writing articles about special places to accompany my photographs.  I have in fact, started work on a book project covering the Beaver Valley, a significant feature in Southern Ontario.  And that folks, is just the beginning.

To my many commercial customers I would like to say a big thank you for your business and your interest in my work.  It has been a pleasure knowing you and working with you.  I sincerely hope you will drop over to the new site and say hello when you get time.
